RGS Photos by Tony Wood, 1954 to 1961

Tony Wood (full name Anthony Charles Wood) was at the RGS from 1954 to 1961, as a day boy for the first four years and a Tylers Wood boarder from 1958 to 1961. He has very kindly sent me some photos which he took whilst at the school. He describes them as "of dubious quality" but I think they are excellent and evocative of the era. Well, the first one is more redolent of later eras but the rest are certainly of their time. In my haste to post the photos for general enjoyment I've inserted captions just as Tony sent them to me but will endeavour to add more identifications in due course. As usual, where a number of people appear in the same photo, I've tried to make it easier to work out who's who by including individual identifications which you can detect by placing the mouse pointer over a face.
